Website prayer items for April & May 2010
Praise God for the Teaching Children Effectively™ level 2 course held in Waipara, Praise God for the 4 enthusiastic students. All are very keen to reach boys and girls and now to disciple them as well.
Praise God for the children’s programmes held at Easter camps in Queenstown and Waikanae. Please pray for the follow up of the children who attended. Praise God also for His working in the lives of the children at the CEF camp in Waipara, Nth Canterbury during the second week of the school holidays. Please pray for the follow up of these children.
Please pray for the Good News Clubs in Auckland (English and Korean) and Napier that are held every week. Pray for more children to attend and pray that the teachers will have God’s wisdom and love for the children.
Pray for protection for Pam Brooking, National Director, as she drives many kilometres throughout New Zealand. Praise God for His protection over her as she travelled in the South Island recently. Please continue to pray for her as she drives from Levin to Auckland at the end of April. Pray that God will guide Pam as she makes plans for future ministry in NZ. She will be based in Auckland in May.
Pray for Roland and Ruth Stark as they lead the CEF ministry in Northland. Please pray that God will give them wisdom as they plan out training courses in various areas. Pray for the weekly Good News Clubs which will be starting soon.
Pray for Samuel & Shona Kim who are in Korea from 19th to 26th April for a CEF Missionary Conference and leadership seminars. Pray that this will be a time of refreshment for them as they meet with prayer partners and other Korean CEF workers.
Praise God for a training course which began in Pakuranga, Auckland on Saturday evening 20th February with 5 students. The rest of the course will be held on 22nd and 29th May, the Lord willing. Pray that God will send more students to this course and that Pam will be able to advertise it personally as she visits churches in Auckland at the beginning of May.
Please pray for more National Board members who will commit to the work and ministry of CEF in New Zealand.
Praise God that the first mail response for the CEF Mailbox Club™ has come from children of women prisoners and two of the mothers. Pray that the children will be encouraged to complete the lessons. Pray that more mothers and children will want to join the Mailbox Club.
Praise God for two new, part time voluntary staff to work in our national office. Please continue to pray that we will be able to fully staff our national office and ministry.
Please continue to pray that God will supply the finance we need for our ministries, administration and staff support.
